  • 1.  New Tab Functionality - Edge, and Tab 1 Tab 1?

Be forewarned that when you insert your first tab, if it is anywhere other than at the top of the form, QB will automatically put another tab (duh) at the top of the form for you, on the logical grounds that if you go to the Tab you just inserted, you need to get back to where you started. Unless you rename the one you inserted, they will both be called Tab 1.
The new Tab functionality on Forms doesn't seem to work in Edge (are we surprised?).  That is my preferred browser for QB for a number of reasons - the main one of which is that I don't do anything else in Edge and that way I never click out of QB accidentally.  But if the Tabs aren't going to work. . .

Edge is really just another version of Internet Explorer and is the least supported browser by Quick Base. Chrome and Firefox are better supported and more highly recommended by the Quick Base team.

Friends don't let friends use Edge.  ;-)

We've had some off-and-on issues with Chrome in the last year, especially right after QB updates. But they get fixed pretty fast. I'd say Firefox is actually the most stable one to use with QB, with Chrome a close second.

Firefox, really. Hmmm.  I shall see how it works for me.
All this browser switching is playing havoc with my internal mental browser default settings.  This browser for this, that browser for that sort of thing.
Yes re: friends and Edge.  I was truly just trying to keep QB separate from everything else.  Too bad they discontinued Safari for Windows - I loved it.
