I have a button on several tables that adds information to a new table. The formula allows me to create a new record in a separate table with all the correct information already filled in. There is just one field I need employees to fill out on the new table. However, my formula automatically creates a new record and brings the employee to the alreaady saved record in view mode. Therefore, requiring the field does not do anything because they do not need to save.
Is there a way to create and then open the new record in EDIT mode?
