Good evening QB Gurus!

I have multiple forms and want to include a Print Button on each form. I know that I have to create a separate button for each form and update the dfid with the correct form number.

Below is a sample of the URL code I am using.

urlroot() & "db/" & dbid() & "?a=printr&dfid=10&rid=" & [Record ID#]

I'd like the print preview to open in separate window. Once printed, I'd like the window to close and be returned to my form. Is this possible? When I use the print option from the More menu, it works perfectly. How do I recreate this same sequence in my URL above?

Thank you!

Sometimes you work all day and run into a brick wall doing these things ... and then the obvious answer hits you smack in the face! Click on the checkbox that says Open Target in New Window and the problem is solved.

Still be interested in the URL formula to make this work. Also, is there a way to create one button that can be placed on any form and will print the active form vs. having to program each button separately?
