Hi to the community,

I would like to start off by saying that this community has been above and beyond in terms of exceptional help provided to me as I stumble along learning QB.  Additionally, the staff of QuickBase has been on the ball in replying to my questions, no matter how trivial they may seem. I hope this keeps up because this is not something found with most software.

I have started two User Voice additions, requesting features for QB.  Please take a moment to look over them and cast your vote.  Our organization is moving from Excel to QB but these two features are missing, and we are finding their loss to be troublesome.

Thanks!

This is to add the ability to filter like Excel, or other spreadsheet.  Dynamic filters are great, but they are limited in certain situations.

This is to remove the 200 count limit on plotting.  There is no reason to have this that I can discern since everything is client side, therefore not taxing QB's servers.

Hi Neil,
Do you need a seperate log-in to access User Voice? My regular Quickbase login does not work. Thanks!

If you go to you My Apps page, there is an orange flag on the left side that let's you access the User Voice part.  I guess if you are not logged in you can't see that part or I thought I heard somewhere that parts can be blocked from users.  maybe that's one?

I just posted my first User Voice Suggestion - Please Vote it up:

Need More Video Learning Materials
https://quickbase.uservoice.com/forums/111823-quick-base-product-feedback/suggestions/33282430-need-...

As a long time user of QuickBase I just love the product. But I think the community and indeed myself would benefit from more instructional video materials. Google just posted this great article with a fantastic video that shows you how to permantly modify a website's background color and I was immediately able to mod my local QuickBase using it!

https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2018/01/devtools#overrides

I think QuickBase should produce their own videos learning materials using the same animated GIF technology Google uses. These videos are short, get right to the point and there is no audio track so you don't have to disturb your cubicle mates while learning about QuickBse.

Please consider adding animated GIFs you your QuickBase learning materials.

Hi Neil,

We are really glad to hear that you have found so much value in Quick Base and also in our Community and interactions with our staff. Thank you for giving us your feedback in Uservoice, it is very helpful for us to get a pulse on what our customers are interested in as our Product Development team continues their work.

For Vitni, Neil is correct the easiest way to access uservoice and get it synced up the very first time you use it is to go into the My Apps page in Quick Base and then click on the orange feedback tab on the left hand side of the screen. This helps to register you in Uservoice with the same Quick Base Account. Then you can upvote ideas and share your own.

Also, thank you Dan for your feedback, as a former Care team member I agree that videos can be so helpful for conveying ideas in Quick Base (which can be so visual). That is something out training team is attempting to expand with our University offerings but I know we would certainly be interested in hearing if there are topics you think are missing from our curriculum and video catalogue.

Once you go to Youtube style videos the speaker feels the need to drone on introducing himself, tell you how to contact me, and all sorts of other politeese. Just get to the point in a few seconds.
