I have an employees field.  One field is [Employee], second field is [Employment Status].  I am trying to create a drop-down list that only shows the Employee whose status is Active.  (this is on another table)  I have the relationship already built for both fields to the other table.

no problem.

Make a simple report of just Active Employees with just the names as your drop down choices. Call it something like dropdown list of Active Employees. Set it to be visible to no Roles.

Then on the FORM properties for that field select the form to not use the Record Picker, but instead use your report.

You need to not use the record picker. Instead, make a new report visible to no roles and have the report include just the field(s) that you want to see on the drop down list, in their correct sort, and with their correct filters.  Then tell the form to use that report that you might have called called "drop down list for xxx choices" on the form.

I made the report.  My problem is that I can't find where in the Form to tell it to not use the record picker but use the report.  The field is a text lookup.  On the form properties for the field there is not option to change the picker to a report.

Since you joined an existing thread, maybe you need to start at the beginning.  Are you trying to choose records from a drop down list?  Also are you on the "Essentials Plan". Maybe that entry level plan does not allow that feature
