So I have two tables in two different databases and I want fields from one to show up in the other

So I have two database called: Project Management Portal (aka PMP) and Serenity.

In Serenity I have a listing of titles. In PMP I have 'work orders' that are linked to these titles.  So essentially when we need some sort of action done for a title, a work order is created to name the task.  This works fine and dandy.

What I am struggling with is that I want some of the PMP fields to show  in Serenity to trigger a report.  Both have a cross application share and I have done a relationship between two of the tables but I can't get the PMP information to automatically show up on the record in Serenity

How can I get that information to appear in a report?  Basically I am trying to create a report that says "show me all the titles that are marked as an APPROVED title that had a work order completed within the past week on it"

Any help is appreciated

How about just doing a summary report of Work Orders, filtered by the date completed is in a date range you want, lie last week, and where the title was approved.  The Title will come down as a look up field.

So basically make the report off the Work Order Table and summarize by Title and just don't include any work order information, just the Title.

hmmmm...don't quite understand.  So I have this report in Serenity that I want to only show titles that are Approved and that information is in Serenity, and those show up fine. But I want to further say "only show me the work orders that were completed in the last week."  That information has to be fed from PMP.  So how would a summary report do that?

So I Title has many Work Orders.  So that would mean that any field in the Serenity (Titles)  table and be brought down as a lookup.  I am suggesting not to use your Report from Serenity. I am suggesting that the Work Orders table "must" already have a field for the title from Serenity.  So why not make a Summary Report type (not a table report but the second option which is a Summary report) or WorkOrders with a Group By Title.
