Strip off the New and Updated Flags and Column in a report.

I have a report that I am embedding in an Exact Form. Works great except that I would like to not include the New / Update Flags and the column. I do have the requirement that the flags appear in other reports and in the application. Just need to turn it off for this one report.

~=qdb.GetURL("DBID", "API_GenResultsTable^qid=-1000134^ts=" + new Date().getTime());~

As usual ... thanks for the help!

Hi,

I've actually provided a helpful detailed answer in a previous post which covers the turning off of edit and view symbols which is similar (nfg) for turning off flags see below:

You may need to build your query manually specifying columns, sort order rather than using query ID. I seem to recall this being the case.

If that doesn't quite do what you need I also detailed as a further answer how to override table formatting on exact forms on the same post.

Jack ... a pro you are! I actually came across your post earlier and figured it out. The column remained but no flags. All good now as I am assuming the column must remain.

If your using the Quickbase native formatting the column will remain, however if you feel adventurous you could create your own CSS template to render the table differently on your exact form, I've left this in as I use totals on tables and the word TOT appears in this column at the bottom.

I have a black grid box on one of mine (similar to an excel table), with all the standard Quickbase formatting removed, I would recommend giving this a go when you have some spare time but cloning your existing exact form and URL button editing to point at the cloned page so you don't break anything.

I have also provided details on how to generate tables conditionally on exact forms, this means that if your showing say 3 child table reports on the same exact form, for example revenue, budget, expenses, if you were at the start of the period there may not be any expenses, so you may not want to generate a table as its a waste of paper.
