I have different types of requests in 13 different status on my service request table. I need a report to show the total amount of of requests in 3 of those requests vs the total amount of request. How would I do this?

Can you describe the Relationships between your tables?

I'm trying to create this report in one table "service request" table. For every request in the table there is 13 different status the request can be in. I need to show the total # of request in 3 of these request vs the total # of requests. Other tables related to this would be "clients" table where there is multiple service requests for a specific client.

I suggest that you make a Summary Report Type report to Summarize Service Requests by Status.  Add in a filter to only include the three statuses that you want.  TO add a second filter to a report, you hover beside the first filter and it will give you a green icon to add another filter.

This gives me a number of requests in those three statuses. The total number of requests in those is 179. I know the total number of requests that has come through is around 300. If there a way I can make the report show 59.7% as a figure. Thanks!

I believe that the only way to do that will be to set up a new table with one record in it.  Cal the table Summry count.  Add a record,  it will be record ID number 1

Then on the service request table make a formula field with a formula of 1. Then make a relationship back to the summary counts table based in that field and then in that relationship make a Summry count of the number of service requests.

Look that total up down to the detail.

Great now each detail record knows the total count.

Create a field on the detail called percent of total with the formula 1/[Summary count total] and add that field to your summary report.
