Trying to start new app but getting message that I need to get permission from account admin - new account, who would this be?

How do I find my account admin? I am new to Quick Base and trying to demo. I just opened an account and tried to create a new app but it says I need permission from my account admin? Wouldn't this be me? I don't have an apps started yet, just trying to start one so how and where is this permission? It says it will email account admin but I don't have an emails about this. I'm stuck.

That does sound odd.  I suggest putting in a support ticket using the ? at the top right.  They will answer you on Monday morning.

Quick Base is an Amazing product and this community hre is very helpful, but I think that kind of problem can only be addressed by QuickBase support.

By any chance do you have a "My Apps" page at the top right, and at the right site a link to Manage Account. Normally that is where you go to manage who has Permission to create apps, but I'm not sure if it is there on a 30 day trial program.

Thanks. I had heard good things so was going to give it a spin.

No, I just have my name and preferences. Nothing about Manage Account unfortunately.

.. I suppose you could always start a new 30 day trial with a different email address.

Tried that earlier. Same error. Odd. Guessing I just need to practice some patience at this point.

Hi Catalina,

Mark is correct that you would want to reach out to the Care Team via a support case, which you can do directly with the link here. This does happen occasionally with users who register for a user account before they register for a trial. Then when they go to open a trial they end up with a user who is already registered and get in a bit of a loop. In that instance if you get in touch with the Care Team they can help you restart the registration flow for a new trial first before registering a user. We would love to help you get set up for a trial to see what Quick Base has to offer.
