I have a data set of about 110,000 lines. I need the SKU field to be the key

field, but QB says no way, you have dupes. But I have checked in Excel a couple

of different ways and Excel says there are no dupes.

Anyone heard of this, or a way to fix?

Thanks as always,

Ryan

Have you checked if there are any records where the SKU field is blank?  Excel might miss them in a dup check.

Thanks, I have found the problem. A very small number of the SKUs were formatted in Excel as scientific notation. Hence the dupes. I shall hang my head low and go fix it. I wish there was a way to withdraw a question on the forum.

No worries.  No need to hang your head.  Easy to miss small things with 110k records.
