I setup a URL field and cannot get it to show up when Viewing or Editing a form. It only shows up when I add a new form.
I have had success in the past with URL Fields and I set this one up the exact same way as the others. Any ideas why it wont show up? Screen shots attached.
Display when this form is used for: is setup to View, Add, Edit
I do not need it so much for viewing, but editing and adding is a must. I have tried to log out and log back into quickbase thinking maybe it was a glitch.
Thanks in advance!
1) add a Label (or just uncheck "Use Alternate Label Text") - so that you can see where that field would show up
2) uncheck Read-only
Then fill in some value for the URL field - as a test.
Right now - with a blank alternate label, and read-only - if the value for the field was blank, it would be just a space on the form, so it might be hard to tell it's there.
After that - you can look at the settings for showing the full URL vs. showing it as a button, etc.
Is there a form rule that show/hides fields?
Are there custom permissions on that field?
How about moving the PCN Procedure field to somewhere else on the page - like into one of the sections? I notice that "Copy this PCN" is the first field, with "Same Row" checked.
If none of these work, you may want to file a Support Case on this.
Other than that... submit a support ticket like Xavier said.
