Using this URL button in an email where a customer can accept or reject a proposal. But instead of taking the customer to the Quickbase application where they may be confused by the layout I want to redirect to a thank you page on our actual website.

So, customer hits ACCEPT on the email

URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid() & "?act=API_EditRecord&apptoken=**************************&_fid_345=Approved&rid=" & [Record ID#] & "&rdr=" & URLEncode(URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid() & "?act=dr&rid=" & [Record ID#])

After the record is updated via the approval button how do i redirect to our website www.ourwebsiteexample.com.

Try this and let me now if it works

URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid() & "?act=API_EditRecord&apptoken=**************************&_fid_345=Approved&rid=" & [Record ID#]
& "&rdr=" & URLEncode("www.ourwebexample.com")

I get this lovely QB page that says "We can't understand the URL you specified. If you think the URL is correct, try refreshing this page". Thank you for offering a suggestion however. Any other ideas?

This worked

URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid() & "?act=API_EditRecord&rid=" & ToText([Record ID#])

& "&_fid_9=" & ToText(Now())

& "&rdr=" & URLEncode("http://www.google.com")

It wants the URL to have the full http:// prefix so that it knows that the website is outside of the QuickBase domaine.
