Users keep getting unexpectedly denied access to my QuickBase app

Hi QuickBase Magicians,


I keep having users who's access gets unexpectedly denied for what seems like no reason. In my user list about 80% of all my users status' is set to 'Denied'.

Unusually, some of the denied users can still access my QuickBase app. Some get an error message telling them they've been denied, however.


I can temporarily fix this fairly easily by just hitting 'Request Undeny' in the user list next to their name. But I'd rather find the root cause of the issue and resolve it. 


Has anyone experienced this or something similar?

For the users who are getting "denied" unexpectedly - are there other Account Administrators who have the permissions to deny users?

For the "denied" users who can still get access to your QuickBase app - if there's a role in the app where access is given to "Everyone in the Internet"?  I wonder if that's how they're getting access.

If that's not the case, then I think you should contact Support for them to take a look.

Thanks for your reply. It seems like it was some confusion with our QuickBase admins. We had a very sudden increase in users and didn't warn them.

It seems like I have resolved the issue now.
