vCard in Email Notification

I want to set up an email notification that includes an individual's vCard. I have a main table, which reads from a contact table; the vCard lives in the contact table.

I bring the vCard over to my main table via a relationship, and if I click on the vCard in the main table, the vCard opens as it should.

However, when I create an email notification in my main table which incluedes the vCard, the vCard is empty (all blank fields) when I receive it in my Email.

I've created the exact same notification in my contact table, and when the vCard is sent, it works fine; all the data is in the vCard.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I believe the vCard attachment is designed to work with data directly on the table, and not lookup values. I suggest creating a support case about this by clicking Help -> Manage My Cases while logged in to QuickBase. One of our support representatives can then investigate this situation for you, and if determined that it's a new issue write up a bug about it.

Thanks Eric. And yes, your belief is correct, the attachment only works with data directly on the table. I solved for this buy passing all the contact info via a relationship to the new table, and creating another vCard for the passed info on that table. The solution was so obvious it was hidden in plain sight.

Thanks for the response.
