What are best practices for backing up data?

I understand that I can create a copy of the application in order to save the formulas, fields, forms, etc.

What about creating a backup for the actual data in order to preserve the states?  I can try to remember and manually download CSV's for all the tables, but that is prone to human error.

Are there any automated processes to download all tables on a regular (bi-monthly? basis)

Thanks!

QUNECT offers an ODBC driver for quickbase.  Included in that is a backup application that will download all data from your app(s) to your local machine / server.

Or, you can use the ODBC driver itself to create your own backup mechanism via Access, SQL Server or other apps.
Note that QuickBase natively supplies backup and restore services.  I cannot locate a good knowledgebase article right now, but you can contact Support and they can explain it.
