what does email in QuickBase look like? Does it use Outlook as a base? Or is it a separate application, and if so, does it have most of Outlook's functionality?

Our QuickBase app is going to be the center of our company. It will make sense to embed email and calendaring and contacts into the app as much as possible. Thanks!

Hi Bill,

My name is Cam from the QuickBase Support team. I would be happy to fill you in. So QuickBase does integrate with OutLook with the use of iCalender fields to create meetings and appointments. QuickBase's emails are in the form of notifications, subscriptions and reminders. These are leveraged to send out emails from QuickBase or from a specific user on QuickBase to other users or even external emails. These notifications, subscriptions and reminders don't utilize a specific email client but rather are sent out to all email clients. You can even customize emails to send actual records from your QuickBase app or customize them with html, logos and banners and much more. The sky is the limit. Here's a link form our help guide to shed a little more light on emails from QuickBase:

Thank you for using QuickBase Bill

Make it a great day,
