When exporting the data, it uses a pick table but as I am running into 'report too large' and would like to break my data, how do I select a report that I need to export using export option.

Are you attempting to download all data in a table using the Import/Export link on the Dashboard? Also, how much data do you have on this table & what is the purpose of the export?

I am in the middle of the rollout of the app and so farr I have been testing with real data which I update periodically.  It has been going well until last week when I did export data without any issue.  The reason I export is to match it against the existing data in MS Access database for the record ID and then upload fresh data which effectively updates the info. I just don't like deleting the entire table data because that leads to very big record number.  May be worse comes to worst I would have to empty the table and add fresh data. Not too sure importing causes similar issues.

I don't have more than 4000 records and 200 fields.  So not too sure what affects the byte count. Tried the XML version too but Excel refuses to read the file unless I have a schema file. Not sure where to get that.

With that few records, I'd submit a Support Case and see if they can take a look for you
