What's wrong with my formula?

Hi Everyone,

This is a simple check the box on or off formula, based on whether the First Name and Last Name have been entered on the form.

If([NH - First Name]<>"" and [NH - Last Name]<>"",[NH - Full Name Checkbox]=true,[NH - Full Name Checkbox]=false)

Basically, the box is never checked, so I'm not putting in the right conditions.

Any help?

Thanks

Mike

You can use this simple formula for the [NH - Full Name Checkbox] Checkbox field:

Length([NH - First Name]) > 0 and Length([NH - Last Name]) > 0

There is no need for an If() statement since each of the expressions that compare the length of a text field with zero are themselves Boolean values that can be combined with an and operator.
