When creating a new ticket in Essentials Customer Service, how do I make " Actual Resolution Date" required when Status is marked as "Closed....."?

When I have "Actual Resolution Date" as required, I cannot save a new ticket unless that field is used. Is there a way to make this required to close a ticket?

I am trying to make this as easy to navigate as possible.

You can create a formula text field called "Resolution Date" and use this:

If([Status]="Closed" and [Actual Resolution Date]="","Blank")

Add a form rule:

When the record is saved (after checking) and Resolution Date is equal to Blank,

Abort the save.

When the user attempts to save, they will get the message:

"Resolution Date is equal to Blank" plus whatever else you type in the message box.
