Where is advanced find in the new UI?

So I go to do an advanced search of my application table in the new UI, because I only want to see records of jobs done in North Carolina, but for the life of me I can't find the "ADVANCED FIND" feature that allows me to filter the records I'm searching for.

This new UI is already proving itself to be so inefficient in some areas as to cancel out any improvements made elsewhere. It's VERY ANNOYING!

CAN ANYONE HELP?? For Pete's sake, all I'm trying to do is a filtered search!

On the table home page the Advanced Find will be at the top of the filters section at the left - maybe you have closed that filter section and its therefore hidden. If that filters section is not showing at all, then it will be right beside the search box that should be above you table Home Page report.

Of course there is also the SEARCH button at the top of the screen, but that will search every searchable field in every table, so it will be slow and does not let you make a more complex looking at specific fields in a table.

I see no "FILTERS" section in any of my apps, and no Advanced Search showing beside the search box in any of them either.  I haven't touched the interface since upgrading, so I don't know how I could have hidden the filters section.  How would I re-open the filters section so they're again visible and I can see if the advanced search shows in my application?

Are you looking on the Table Home  page for each Table?  ie where you land when you click on a Table icon?

Yes.  There's no FILTERS section.  The only Advanced Search found is on the main tables page after you login that shows all your apps, and it's not what I'm looking for.  Why in the  world is a search function hidden somewhere other than on your dashboard page in this new UI.  It's getting ridiculous.  I'm going on 2 days of trying to find what used to be so easy to locate and use. I literally HATE this new interface and am close to considering some other solution than QB.  The lack of a direct phone number to simply call someone and ask a simple question, and get an answer in 2 minutes rather than emailing, submitting a support case, etc... is now more important than ever.  Please HELP!

Two choices.  Put in a support ticket http://quickbase.intuit.com/support/portal/# or post a screen shot here of what you are seeing on a Table Home Page.

If you answer the question again (not a comment but an answer), then there is a link to attach a file.

I think if you click on the 'Records' table (with the folder icon) this is where the Advanced Search link will show up under the filters heading on the left.

Thank You!!!!  That's exactly what I was trying to find!!  This new UI is more complicated than it's worth.  Thanks again!

This has been stumping me for months, I guess I'm too stubborn to ask where something as simple as 'search' is. I'll complain that this makes having a 'home page' about useless. Didn't I see at first with the new UI that you could make the advanced search show up on the home page?
