I have set up a new role with full administrative access...and set up a home page for that role. However, I am unable to grid-edit from the home page? What am I missing?

Hi Lynne,

Grid Edit reports cannot be shown on the table or app Home page, and will not appear in the dropdown. This is because QuickBase's home pages are designed to allow users to view data rather than update it. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. If you have a minute I would suggest logging this as product feedback. At this time, all enhancement requests go through User Voice.  User Voice allows users to submit their QuickBase new feature requests, as well as vote on previously submitted ideas by other users.

You can access User Voice from your 'My Apps' page, and then clicking the orange feedback button from the left hand side of the screen.

Thanks,

Brian

Interesting.  I have several table reports on my homepage that allows me to "grid edit".  These were created a while ago tho.

Hi Lynne,

The difference is that you are able to add a table report to an app or table home page, and then click 'grid edit' to switch to grid edit mode. On the app home page, you can do this by hovering over the report, clicking the 'More Options' button which looks like three horizontal lines, and then selecting Grid Edit. The piece that is not actually possible would be adding the grid edit views themselves onto a home page. I'm sorry for the confusion.
