Combined text summary field sort order

Hello All, 

I have a combined text summary field that seems to only sort by record ID. I thought that combined text summary sorted alpha? I have a put a number in front of the text field but its not changing.

Example

17, GPI-BIL

7, BIL-GPI

Help!

    I don't believe there are any options to change the sort and these will be sorted by Record ID#

    Combined Trxt formula field sort alpha, so you will need to put a leading zero in front.

      Hmm...you know...you're 100% right. For some reason, I was mixing up this and the results from a Formula Query.
