Trying to avoid relationships. I would like to bring results from one table to another - something like a default record picker in the reference field. I need to have it in the dropdown with the possibility to select one record. Is it possible to do this through a formula field and get records?
Last time I got results but they are not selectable.
    Thanks in advance.

I think if you want to select a record from a parent table you may as well have a relationship to that parent table. you cannot have a record picker be the results of a formula query.

I just put the screen as an example. There is no relationship. Is there a way to bring records from other tables and let user select needed record from the dropdown through Formula-Field?

    Answer is No.

You might try setting up a multiple choice field and select the option in the configuration to select values from another field.

But I really don't understand what you have against relationships.
