&NextURL does not work from a report?

I may have just discovered a bug? Anyone run across this?

I used $NextURL all the time for custom buttons. The button works perfectly in a form. Put that same button on a report, and the Next URL does not work. Anyone run across this and have a solution?

    When you edit a record from a report using the native pencil icon it will return you to the report no matter what.  But I believe if you make your own edit button then you can control the redirect. So you would have to suppress the icon for the edit pencil.
