Conditional dropdown display help

Hello,

I have made a conditional dropdown in a Quickbase and was wondering if there is a way to make it look like a regular multi-choice dropdown with only the text of the options as selections.  Right now, it shows all columns for the record the conditional dropdown is linking to and their headers, but I only want the values from the first column and without the headers.

I've tried changing the "Display as a link to the related record" checkbox, and messing around with the Proxy field so far but neither of those have worked.

Thank you for any assistance

  • No problem. Just create an unfiltered report with the columns that you want. Call it for example,   used for Conditional drop down

then set the form properties to use that report for the drop-down field.

I couldn't get the report option to work for the conditional dropdown, but I found something about changing the record picker settings.  I did that in the parent table.  At first glance it looks like it is doing what I want now.
