Foreign (non-English) language support

I am trying to set up a system that will have Vietnamese language in some of the forms. When I use the phrase Tên hội for "Assembly Name," it shows up on the form as "Tên h i" and the phrase "Số sê-ri lắp ráp" for Assembly Serial Number shows up as "
S sê-ri l p ráp"

Is there a way to turn on support for other languages? I don't think it's a browser-based issue if you can read it in this post (have to see what happens when I hit "Post," I guess!).

  • I suggest that you make a copy of your app and in the copy app look for a setting in the properties page for the whole application. There should be a checkbox to enable something which I think it's called. UTF-8

That is designed to allow the app to handle non-American characters. Then you will find out if your language is supported.

That's the switch I was looking for - thanks again!
