Form rules for required fields

I have a form that I want to have different required fields based on the selection of another field. I created 4 different rules for each selection option but it's causing a problem. It appears that the rules are conflicting/overlapping. How can I remove the "otherwise" and "then" part of the form rule? I basically want the rules to run only when triggered so that each one runs independently. screenshot for references about "otherwise" and "then"

  • You need to remove the conflict within your rules - there is no way to remove the 'otherwise' part of the rule. The best way is to reconfigure your rules by breaking out each required field into it's own rule or subset of smaller rules where the conditions are the same. This might mean 1 form rule to require AD email but only that specific field as an example. 

    The New forms specifically are much more stringent on conflicts are compared to the legacy forms.
