Insert app variables in new form builder rules

Hello. Does anyone know if there's a way to insert app variables into the new form builder using the expression builder for form rules. When I try to insert an app variable in brackets, it doesn't detect that it's an app variable and I can't save the form rule.

    The new forms don't seem to recognize app variables in the formula expression at this time. I would recommend submitting a ticket to make sure it's on QB's radar - otherwise your best bet is to create a field in your table that simply references/copies the value of the App Variable and then use that field in your expression.
