I have a field in child table (patients) that pulls the client name from parent table (clients). However I want to only pull clients from the parent table that are active. Right now it just pulls every client in the client table into the dropdown.
If you right-click and go to the form settings for that field you will see how the picker is displayed. You can set it to be a report where it only shows clients that are active. I do this in a lot of places.
I wasnt able to figure out how to only display active ones but I was able to add the status to the picker so people can see if they are active or not which works. Thanks!
If you have a report for active Clients, you can use that report as the picker. Then in the filter of the report do something like Active checkbox = checked.
