My Child Table is not populating the look up fields

Hello, My Child Table is not populating the look up fields from the parent table even though my tables are connected, and I have added the look up fields to the form. I have the proxy reference ad...

Just because you make a relationship it does not magically mean that the look up fields will work. The field for [Related Parent] needs to be populated. My guess is that field is not populated.

Hello Mark,
in layman's word, what is it that I will need to do to make the Look Up fields populate for the new records. I am not worried about populating the existing records.

    Well, you can make the field [Related Parent] required and you will quickly find out where it's not getting populated.  Typically the Add Child button will populate that field in the URL formula.
