Quickbase forced update with predictive search feature, disaster. Anyone else?

Quickbase recently forced an update  on our apps that includes, at a minimum, a predictive text search feature. For some reason, this update (without my knowledge) has created a glitch that won't recognize if there is a space in a field title (like at the end of the word, invisible), then the other tables, that used to have proper relationships, don't recognize the naming convention of the old field. This has destroyed my entire database!!!!

What you are referring to is called type-ahead searching feature. Not sure how it can destroy a database. You don't have to use that field to search, if you don't want to. You could continue to use the drop-down arrow as usual. Trying to search by typing in that field is optional. Hope that helps.
  • It is not about the search feature or drop down menus. It is the fact that the update made something as simple as a space after a field name ("Project_") become unreadable so that all other tables that are linked to that field name, can no longer recognize it. Thus, making the system, unrelated, and useless. It is a disaster if you use a complex relationship between project management, data management and timesheet systems to bill several different clients. Quickbase has been stumped for two weeks on the issue or how to resolve.
