Is it true you cannot add a duplicate personal report name per App?
Asking for a friend, A coworker just pointed out he is getting a duplicate report name error from Quickbase when he tries to name a personal report the same name as a report in a different table. For example there are 'temp' reports in every table in the App and never a problem. He has a 'temp' personal report in one table. When he tries to add a 'temp' personal report in a different table, he gets a duplicate report name error. Does anyone know if there is a way to make the Y-axis numbers the same on line graphs? I have a screenshot of my graph, and the right side starts at zero and goes up by five. The left side is more bizarre and goes up by two then by three. The only number that is the same is fifteen. For us, this graph would make more sense if both sides had the same numbers. Hello, I am trying to create a report that tracks each contact attempt by week. Right now, I have a report that will track the users calls based on a Contact Date field but if this field is updated, the original Contact Date information is removed from the report, and the record is adjusted based on the most recent Contact Date. I have tried to create an additional field named Contact Date #2 to track both times the candidate was reached out to, but the reports are only able to use one field to summarize the data. I included a screenshot of the report. In the week of 10/13, the 1 candidate was also contacted on the week of 10/20, but their information only appears in the week of 10/13. Is there a way to connect two reports? Or is there an easier way to track each time someone attempted to contact a candidate?5Views0likes1CommentSeparate variables
For my project, I ideally would like to create a pie chart. With what I read online I can’t do that with the variables I have now, so I created a table with two columns. First column, called names, consists of a full name, while the second column, called changes, consists of multiple variables that are separated by a semicolon. For the changes column, I need to separate each variable into a row of its own but still have it associated with the name. What can I do to achieve this? The end goal is it use this table to see what names are associated with the changes column a distinct number of times. Like Name McName is associated with "No Changes" 37 times. Good Afternoon, I created a basic inventory system app that allows me to log a few fields (name, part #, location, etc.). One of these fields is a file attachment field for uploading a picture of the item. I am trying to download the report (197 records each with a photo) but I am unable to download or print the report since it is such a large file (1,686,015 KB). Is there a way to use some field to compress the image so that my report is not so large when trying to download as a PDF or print? I'm trying to customize a report where the results are based on teh current user and the locations in the current user's region. We have the following infrastructure already: table of employees > within the table of employees are the current user's and they do have a user account field that links them to their profile with a "user" type field although i'm not sure that is relevant for solving this. On each employee profile is their Location (Multiple Choice) On each manager's profile is a "Region" field (Multi-Select text field) inclusive of the same options in the location field- caveat being a manager can be responsible for multiple locations hence the region. Now- we're struggling with how to lookup the options in teh Region field to call up all teh records for the employees in their region. We also have a projects table where multiple manager resources are linked and based on the project those assigned managers on each employee record through a table to table relationship where we're filling in related program and it pulls the assigned managers; so it works when we say "if the assigned manager field contains teh current user- show" but we also want it to limit just to their Region. What am I missing to make it go one level further on a report that is customized per user so they only see stuff relevant to them through "current user" options27Views0likes3CommentsStuck on Embedded Report filter/setting
I have a table with a input form containing a embedded report. I tested a few yesterday and all worked just fine. In the midst of adding/updating a column at setting changed I can't wrap my head around. When I few a 'purchase order' - the associated embedded purchase order report defaults to a purchase order #1, not a corresponding one. For example if I view Purchase Order #19, it used to embed a report for PO 19, now it just shows blank. But if I goto Purchase order #1, it show the correct embedded report of PO#1. I attached some examples hoping it helps explain my situation, but I found a setting on the embedded reports where it has a filter, it's set to Purchase Order#1, but the options in the dropdown are just the current test POs that have been entered. I don't see a way to "auto associate" it based on what I am viewing so if I am viewing PO 19, embedded Purchase Order #19's details.9Views0likes1CommentIs there any way to show an embedded report with all the records related through a summary table
There are three relevant tables in this scenario, Projects, Groups, and a summary table called Project Groups. There is a one to many relationship from Projects and from Groups to the Project Groups table. This is to allow a project to be a member of multiple groups, and a group can contain multiple projects. I would like to show an embedded report in the projects form that shows all of the other projects (with some other relevant fields) that share a group with the project I am viewing, and I plan to group that report by Group.
