Frequently asked questions about the Qrew online platform migration.

Why is the Quickbase Community moving to a new platform?

We're upgrading the Quickbase Community to provide an improved user experience while preserving the connections and conversations you value. The new platform offers better technology and integrates with our Customer Success tools, so community insights flow directly into how we support you. It also offers better features and functionality that directly support your Community experience. As we move forward, we'll introduce new features that make it easier for Qrew members to connect online.

What's new on this community platform?

AI-powered search
Search now uses AI to surface answers from community discussions in seconds, with cited sources so you can dig deeper if needed. Instead of scrolling through old threads, get a summarized answer you're looking for instantly.

Better event registration
Community events are now easier to find, browse, and join. With a calendar view and ability to RSVP, you will experience a more streamlined registration flow.

Improved design and user experience
You will see cleaner navigation and experience faster load times in this new experience, along with modern branding and sleeker design.

When will the new Quickbase Community platform launch?

The new community platform launches on October 7, 2026. We will communicate about the launch date both before it takes place to remind Qrew members, and after to confirm it is live.

Will I still be able to use the current community platform before the launch?

Yes. The current online Community will be available until October 6th. Please note, prior to migrating to a new platform, we will need to put the current platform in "read-only" mode from 2:00am EST September 24th– 10:00am EST October 7th. During this period, you will still be able to browse and read the Community site, but you will not be able to start or reply to discussions.

Will there be any downtime?

Yes. There will be a brief period of downtime lasting roughly 30 mins on 10/7 while the actual migration is taking place. The downtime will begin at 10am EST/7am PST. We will send communications via email when the new community is live.

Will my discussions and posts transfer?

Yes. Posts and replies added up until 2:00am EST September 24th, 2026 will migrate to the new Community site. Because the online Community will be in read-only from September 24–October 7, there will not be any new posts or replies during this period to transfer.

Topics that haven't had any activity in the past three years have been archived and won't be transferred. However, older discussions that have remained active are included in the migration.

Why can't I find some older discussions?

Topics that haven't had any activity in the past three years have been archived and won't be transferred. However, older discussions that have remained active are included in migration.

What won't transfer?

A few items won't transfer:

  • Topic and category subscriptions
  • Favorites and notification preferences
  • Private messages
  • Photo albums and the photos stored in them
  • Unpublished drafts
  • Select badges (Nods Given, Nods Received)
Getting ready: what should I do before September 24th?

If you use the Community site to store information you want to keep:

  • Save or export any private messages you need for reference
  • Screenshot or download important discussions or resources you rely on for quick reference
  • Note any favorite topics you plan to re-find (your favorites list won't transfer, but the discussions themselves will still exist)

You don't need to do anything else—your profile, rank, and posts all move automatically.

Will my profile transfer?

Yes. Your profile information, including your profile photo and most badges, will be transferred to the new Community site.

Will my username stay the same?

Yes. Your username will remain the same on the new Quickbase Community site.

What will happen to my Community rank?

Community ranks will stay the same and will be migrated to the new platform.

What will happen to my badges earned?

The majority of the badges you’ve earned will stay the same and will be migrated to the new platform. The only badges that will not transfer are Nods Given and Nods Received.

Can I update my profile after launch?

Yes. You can update your profile information, including your profile photo and other profile details, after the new Quickbase Community site launches.

Will the Community look different?

Yes. The new platform has an updated look and feel with improved user experience and design. Some features may appear in different locations, and creative and branding will be refreshed. We will provide resources to help you get familiar with the new experience upon signing in.

Will I need to create a new account?

No. You will continue using your Quickbase account to sign into the Quickbase Community.

Will I need to do anything?

There is no action on your end. Once the platform is migrated and you access the new Community instance, all you will need to do is go to the Community site (community.quickbase.com) and click “Login” on the top right corner and sign in through the standard Quickbase SSO flow.
