April's App Builder Agenda for April 15th, 2025
Hello App Builders Qrew! With Empower shifting our April schedule a week down, I wanted to make sure to post the agenda and to remind folks to use the events page as our Qrew Meet Ups source of truth. I will do more to communicate upcoming meet ups via the discussions page and emails, but we are no longer sending out calendar invites. Agenda for the App Builders Qrew Meet Up Tuesday April 15th at 12pm EST: Mark Shnier, owner and developer of Your Quickbase Coach, who will present some use cases solved with the User Focus Technique, including calculating distances between addresses and quickly assigning team members to a project. This Technique should be in your toolkit as it's really useful and provides a great End User experience. This session will include an app by Mark that will available in the exchange that you can download and apply what you learned from this session right away. Mark is 2024's Qrew Legend and an incredible presence in Qrew discussions. Be sure to register and mark your calendars to join us for this very special opportunity to connect and learn from Mark Shneir. Thank you and we look forward to you joining us at our next App Builder meeting on the 15th!0likes0CommentsQuickbase AI Beta Tools Now Available - Contest!

Hello App Builders Qrew! I have a question for you: How many folks currently have a Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) process at our Organization? If you do have an ALM process, do you use a Quickbase app to manage it or is it managed in another tool? If you do not have an ALM process, is it something you are planning to add in the future? Let's start a discussion and share your thoughts below!0likes0CommentsOctober App Builder Qrew Meet Up Recap

Hello App Builder Qrew! Thank you to all who were able to attend our first App Builder Meet Up of the year. Here’s what we discussed: 1) Joe Reynolds, Sr. Solutions Consultant, showcased the power and capabilities of a Builder Account. He shared how he built his soccer coaching soccer team scheduling app which features a game schedule, practice schedule, game plan, and player minutes tracking. Joe also shared a Poker Night App, Travel app and more! 2) We also heard from customers who have built their own personal apps including a game tracking app, insurance inventory app, and so much more. I was very impressed with the many creative Apps and ideas shared by the Qrew! 3) We also did a quick overview of Builder Accounts benefits and limitation, and how to leverage it for learning Quickbase and testing new product releases. Joe shared an awesome Qrew tip! He recommends using the builder account to create and store templates of forms, reports, buttons, pipelines, etc., so you can bring with you to another job, etc. He also let us know that Quikbase Mobile is included with the Builder Account to test and use with your personal apps, but FastField is currently not available. 4) If you haven’t opened a builder account or having logged in for a while, you can register and login with your personal email here: https://www.quickbase.com/builder-program 5) Sad you missed out on this session? Here’s the recording! Our next meeting is on Tuesday February 11 th at 12pm EST.
