Anyway to remove the (tot) from a summary report column headers?

Question

I have a summary report and totals and groups data in the columns. The title of the report will explain this and I do not need the repeated (tot) across every column header. I would like to hide/remove the (tot) from appearing at the top of each column. Is there a way to remove it?

Unfortunately, you cannot customize the headers of Summary Reports

I am surprised this is the case.&nbsp;&nbsp;The TOT portion of my reports is not just useless, but also creates real confusion since it competes with some calculated fields within the same report.
