automation to push url button to update date for all records

hi, looking to send out OPEN notification based on action item owner. of course this notification only sends out when action item is modified. for this, i've built a url button to update a date field to today's date. however, if i have 100 action items, i can't possible ask someone to click this daily. so now i would like to build an automation to click this button for each record. per mark, this should run slow enough for quickbase to treat it as a single record change and not a multiple record change. 

any ideas on how to build this automation?
