Bar chart date range

I have a Bar Chart that was created by a past Admin. It currently shows ALL data available in the database (from 2017 to current). I am trying to alter it to show only 2019 data. I have tried filtering the results based on completion dates but the chart still shows columns for 2017 and 2018. Is there any way to set parameters for the bar chart to only show from 2019 on?
