My biggest concern is the inability to create Pipelines programmatically. The legacy XML API allows for CRUD of legacy webhooks, but there is no way to do this with a Pipeline webhook in either API.
It's probably just a matter of time until they cut off the XML API as well, which would be another huge mistake without ensuring all commonly-used legacy functionality is replicated in the new API.

Hi there, so we do not currently have any plans to retire the XML API. While the RESTful API offers more modern functionality, we understand that the XML API plays a slightly different role in Quickbase (for example, when you create a relationship, the Add Child Record button uses the XML API).
Also, with our upcoming Solutions API capability, you will be able to programmatically create and manage Pipelines so that is something we are currently working on.
