Cannot calculate end date

Question

I am creating a table for a construction schedule.

I have several fields but some of them are giving me trouble. I have:
Start Date - Work Date Type
Duration - Duration Type
End Date - Formula Work Date Type

In the End Date I am using the End Date Formula builder. I set Start Date for my start date. For the timespan question Duration is not showing in the dropdown. Any ideas why?

The documentation doesn't make this clear, but [Duration] should actually be a Numeric field (for the number of days).

So if you changed your [Duration] field to type Numeric, or created a new Numeric field to use - then the Numeric field would show up in the dropdown for the Formula builder for the End Date.
