Create a have and have-not Kaban for a particular subject

I am creating a training database with a limited amount of employees and an unlimited amount of training subjects.  I want to be able to show a kaban for employees that have completed the training vs those that have not.  I have created a table of all my employees and their information.  I have another table for adding traing subjects and material, and  the last table is an joining the employees with the training completed.  I need help bouncing the completed list of employees off the orginal employee list to get the outstanding training list.
