Create new table entry on a mouse click
Is there a way to create a new record in a table when a telephone number field is clicked on a Quick Base form?
When the mouse click is made to dial a number, I want to create a new record in a call log table that records that an outgoing call was made at a certain date and time. I know how to create a button that will create a new record in a table, but would like the record created when the mouse click happens.
A Chrome extension from Cytracom (a VOIP Vendor) displays a phone icom when you mouse over a phone number and then auto-dials the number.
Hopefully someone has run into a request like this and has some ideas. Thanks!
