- DarioMassaroQrew MemberDo you have any if-statement formulas, or filters applied in your report that could be unintentionally excluding the relevant data?
- PKPKQrew MemberI dont have any if statement formulas or filters applied on the report. I have found that now If i save the form, the report updates with data. Unsure if there is a better way to have the report editable (ie automatically updating the report without needing to click the save button) but this method works okay for now.
Additionally, the report is made editable in the form settings but once the form is saved and data is populated in the table, I still have to click the grid edit button to be able to edit them. Is there a way for it to go straight into grid edit rather than requiring and extra click which takes me to that table and away from the form? - QuickBaseCoachDQrew CaptainIf you have an embedded report on a form and click into Form properties for that report link field, there is a setting there called Editable? That makes the embedded report editable (ie Grid Editable) when the parent record is in edit mode.
As for the report link field, that will only populate when the form is first loaded, it will not populate if the field on which on which that Report link depends, is edited. ie the field on the left side of the report link configuration.
