Forms differences
How many different types of forms does Quickbase(legacy, dynamic, or?) use and what are the differences, benefits, and processes of development?

Quickbase has two form Types.
Legacy and "New Style". While you can still use Legacy forms, all future development of forms will be for the New Style forms. They expect to release functionality "soon" so that New Style forms will behave nicely on Mobile devices with "responsive design" - which means that hey will detect the size of the device and it's orientation (portrait vs landscape) and rearrange the form elements to best fit the screen.
New forms seem to load a bit slower than Legacy forms, but they are the future. So for new development in a New App you may as well throw yourself into New Style Forms. But at this time until Mobile forms gets out of Beta and into "GA" (General Availability), if you have the settings in your app set to automatically decide whether to use a desktop experience or a mobile experience, it will use legacy style forms if it sees a small device. So that means you have to support two forms. The alternative is to set the app to force the desktop experience regardless of the device being used.
