Gauge Graph Readings

Does anyone know how to use the gauge graph to show budget used and remaining balance ? 

Say my budget is $300K and I have used $100K. It shows a green fill in the gauge with a $100k dollar amount. Im trying to get it to show another color and have it report $200K not used.

    Is this budget info on a single record or are there multiple records involved here.

    The best I can think of is to use a chart of Type Line and Bar.  You can lookup the budget down to the deductions table and use that one a chart, with the bar being the total expenses and the line being the Average Budget.   This would need to be for a single Project.
