Grid Edit Bug

Question

Heads up everyone,Just this morning I removed a field from two separate grid edit reports and the field I removed jumped to the far left column still being shown and 7 additional fields showed up.I submitted a support ticket and was told to make a new grid edit report. That works, but is extra work that no one should have to do.I edited the new grid edit report and the same thing happened. So unless there is something wrong on my end, you will need to recreate your grid edit report if you want to make any changes to it. Sorry, hopefully this gets fixed soon.For the record I cleared all of my Chrome browser history including cache and that did not help.

What do you mean when referring to 'grid edit reports'. As in making a form to use with grid edit and overriding role settings by report? Or making a report and setting it in the role functions?

Or something else entirely?

When you create a report, there are several options for what type of report you can create. I am referring to the type of report called "Grid edit":

This appears to be only happening in two tables within the same app. So it may not be as widespread as I assumed.------------------------------Adam Keever------------------------------

We have seen this happen when reference fields are displayed and the related field appears in the report. Response from QB Support:I just wanted to follow up on our conversation earlier today. We looked at your report and found that Quick Base is working as designed. The fields are appearing on the grid edit because of the fact that they are part of a conditional dependency in choosing related records.------------------------------Jim Harrison------------------------------

Quick Base support found that I needed to change the Form properties for Role to &lt;Standard Behavior&gt;; I followed their instruction and the issue was resolved:
