How to connect external databases ?

Question

Hi team,I want to know about how we can connect external database in Quickbase.For example I have existing app which use existing database like MySQL or MSSql.How we can pull or fetch data from this database in Quickbase?If I create an application in Quickbase then How can I connect my existing database with QB?Do we have any connectors available ?Regards,Kat.------------------------------Kat Mill------------------------------

KatI do know that Quick Base is hard at work to create an ODBC connector using Pipelines. They realize that that will open a whole world of possibilities of connections being able to connect to any generic ODBC database.I do not have any timing on that but it is possible that now that they have rolled out the Pipelines connections to the Google Suites that it could be that ODBC is next.&nbsp; &nbsp;Your best bet may be to wait until the Pipeline connection comes through.Quick Base will normally not Announce Timing until they are ready to Announce Timing but I suppose you could try to put in a support ticket to ask to be put in touch with someone on the Pipelines development team to see if they will reveal to you some idea of the timing. Most people use the third party software called QuNect https://www.qunect.com .

The website is not fancy, but the owner Claude is one of the original developers of OneBase back around 1999, which was bought by Intuit and rebranded as QuickBase (then later rebranded as Quick Base - with two words). Claude is a genius and I hear that he is responsive for questions.

Hi Mark,Thanks for the reply. I will explore QuNect more.I can find that it is ODBC for QuickBase, so I assume using it we will be able to access our QuickBase DB in other platforms.However we want an opposite case. Yes, it's used to get data from another data base and bring it into Quick Base.
