How to Populate Tasks in a Connected Table

I have populated tasks in non-connected tables for a while, as stated here:
https://community.quickbase.com/quickbase/topics/is-there-a-formula-to-automatically-add-tasks-based...

But now I have a bigger issue.

I have connected a Project table from one team's app (App A) to another team's app (App B). I want to have a dropdown in App B where the PM can choose a schedule type and it populates the tasks that are native to App B. The Tasks from App B are placed in the connected table from App A.

A step by step for this would be super helpful.

It sounds like you will need to modify the script you are currently using to account for the change of DBID from the old app to the new.

This is a big 'step-by-step' to describe, and ultimately should be handled by script, so its not really an easy answer.

Can anyone help me with this? Is there a resource out there for this? I can't be the only crazy person doing this. Right?
