Instruction #sequence, how to make 1-10, instead of 1,10, 2, 3-9?

Hello,&nbsp;I have a instruction list for checklist. It usually has less than 10 instructions.&nbsp;&nbsp;However, when I add 10th instruction, it shows below 1, and above 2. It causes some problem since we used to scroll down to the bottom to see the latest instructions.&nbsp;How to make the sequence is 1,2,3 ....10. Instead of 1, 10, 2, 3,.....9? Thanks.&nbsp;See attached image.&nbsp;

Can you change the field type from text to numeric?

The instruction list is related with checklist. The checklist # is numeric (lookup) field.&nbsp;
