It would be nice that if you enter a URL as a button on the home page, you didn't have to navigate away to edit the name

I sent in a support case, # 570041 and was informed you MUST navigate away from the new button created, BEFORE you can click on the pencil and edit the NAME of the button.

I would like to NOT have to do these extra clicks and just rename the button while typing in the URL

  • @Slider, thanks. I've been trying. Unfortunately, when I click on the link you've provided or when I try to to navigate to user voices manually, it takes me to the login screen and then my Quickbase username and password do not work. I'm trying to get this resolved. Any ideas?
  • Hi Drew,

    If you haven't used the User Voice service before one way to make sure it is passing you along correctly is to sign into Quick Base and go into your My Apps page. From there you will see an orange feedback tab floating on the left side of your screen. If you click into that tab it will pop open a feedback window that is linked to User Voice, it also helps to make sure you are provisioned in User Voice to help you put in feedback for Quick Base. 
  • Thanks Evan. I was able to get there. I forgot that's how you originally got there, but it seems like that's the ONLY way to get there. I was hoping to make it a button on my homepage/dashboard, but it doesn't seem to work unless you go to the Feedback. Is that true?

    After your first time going through the User Voice feedback tab you should later be able to return to the URL of https://quickbase.uservoice.com/forums/111823-quickbase-product-feedback

    It would just require you to sign in if you aren't signed into Quick Base as that is linked up to your Quick Base credentials. One thing that might help if you are running into the login issues on that page still is to quickly try a password reset and see if that helps to resolve the issue.

      I have run into problems with this. I had to reset my QB password (to 'reset' it to the same as it was before) last week in order to access UV despite having used it before.
