Limit # of results in a table report

Hi, I have a table report that works fine, except I need it to limit results to the top 1000 (or whatever number). This is because I'll be faxing from this report and we can only fax a certain number per day plus use the automation to mark them as faxed. Automations error out if you are updating more than 1500 records, I believe.

How would I do this within the report?
